The Value Proposition that Drives the Cornelius Business Factory 

As a business owner every minute of your day (and night at times) is precious and not a second needs to be wasted on anything that isn’t driving revenue for your business.  It’s for this reason that the Cornelius Business Factory has been structured not to be a demanding “incubator” that requires daily or weekly meetings or contact.

The Cornelius Business Factory is structured to provide three objectives:

1.     Knowledge

2.     Crisis avoidance

3.     Business growth

The way in which the CBF will deliver this information and meet these objectives will be through bi-monthly meetings lasting no more than 90 minutes.  The beginning of month meeting will being an Expert Speaker Workshop and the second will be Peer Strategy Sessions.

The Expert Speaker Workshop will cover all aspects of business over a 12 month period.  In a small group setting so everyone’s questions will be answered and each participant will get the full impact from each speaker.  Some of the planned engagements will cover the following:

1.      Marketing

2.     SBA /Banking in General…Credit Lines

3.     Sales:  Expanding sales force, satellite offices…pros and cons

4.     Business Strategy

5.     Accounting CPA: Budgeting/Tax Strategy

6.     Buying or Selling a business:  What to look for and how to prepare

7.     Life/Work Balance

8.     Legal aspect of business issues.

9.     Staffing:  What to look for and who to hire

10.  Power Negotiating

The Peer Strategy Session will be the second session of the month, each month.  Over the years I have gained invaluable insight into my businesses from people who know nothing about the businesses I have.  Many times we “Can’t see the Forest for the Trees” so to speak.  We are just too close to the problem at hand.  This is where the Peer Strategy Session comes into play.

Imagine if you had a group of entrepreneurs, all successful, all very intelligent, and all working in a concentrated time frame to solve your one problem!  How much pure brain power is that?

This is the basis of for the Peer Strategy Sessions.  All participants will sign a non-disclosure document that will legally bind each member to keep all information discussed in each of these meetings confidential.  There will be no two “like” companies in this meeting to avoid competitive issues.
